A Long Time - Mayer Hawthorne 

For a good month, I would listen to this song while I’d put on my makeup in the morning. My three minutes of prepping matched perfectly with his three minutes of unadulterated funk. 

As it turns out, this song —  or Mayer Hawthorne in general —  makes mundane activities seem really cool.
Say you’re like me.. doing laundry in the middle of the night and you’re listening to this. How can you possibly feel any cooler?

Trick question; you can’t.

I’ve managed to resist tweeting for a long time (although I was pretty close to saying something about how proud I was for wearing my retainers three nights in a row.. YEAH, no) but that gaaaaame.

My father has been… kind enough to incept the idea of how ineffective Bynum and Pau are. It’s all he ever talks about. I’m still rooting for them, but with how things turned out tonight, naysayers like my pops have just a bit more ammunition, haha.

Seriously? Seriously. I just…I… why?!

Took a trip down memory lane as I revisited a ton of old favorites on my youtube account and found this! I can’t believe it’s already been three years since this wedding.

If I recall correctly, at this particular moment Ate Jaenee and Kuya A were having their first communion together, followed by them praying aloud to one another, all the while I’m at the side with the other bridesmaids just losing it and bawling. 
Wonderful times :’)

The video has a lot of footage of the wedding photographer, haha. I’m not complaining though. I liked her a lot because she admitted to crying at every single one of her clients’ weddings. And as a person who cries a little while seeing people cross the finish line of a marathon or hearing thank you speeches, you bet I liked her. 

But I do love the sound of my cousins’ voices.
(my covert tumblr suggestion to Nina and Rora to make more videos of them singing, haha) 

Oh.
They remind me of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes. I wouldn’t mind taking a road trip with these guys.
